How does River work day to day?
Every day you both get the same 2-minute quiz and one small plan, like phones away at dinner. Quiz answers unlock once you've both finished, and the plan is on once you've both said yes.
What kinds of quizzes are there?
Five kinds: Who's more likely to, Guess my answer, This or that, On the same wavelength and Deep talks. A new one arrives every day, and you can play the rest any time.
Do we both need River?
Yes. River is made for two. One of you invites the other with a code. You can take your first quiz before your partner joins, and your answers unlock once they do.
How does app blocking work?
It's optional. If you turn it on, River uses Apple's Screen Time to block apps you pick on your own iPhone during time you've set aside together. Your partner never sees which apps you pick, and stopping doesn't notify anyone.
What counts toward our streak?
Your streak is shared. A day counts when you both finish the quiz or both check in on the day's plan. Time spent together never counts against you.
